Bluebird, Ground Up - Tattoo Designs - Works in Progress

4x7," sharpie, colored pencil, watercolor on moleskine
starting to hash out design compositions for my mom's tattoo.

5x8," acrylic and sharpie on moleskine
I saw the saying on the internets, and i loved it so much i wanted to make a tattoo out of it. gotta make that finger all zombified.

will post some new school projects as soon as i have one i'm happy with.

also, does anyone have a recommendation for a pen (i'd rather not use crow quill if i can avoid it), that would scan blacker, and generally have a darker line? i love the feel of the sharpie pens but they're starting to not cut it anymore.
