Sage Francis is the second portrait in my hip hop triptych. Again, pretty stoked about the likeness, although i'm not sure how happy i am with his clothing. may go in and make that more detailed later, but i basically painted this in one sitting and my eyes are about to fall out. Background lyrics are from his verse in the same song as before, font is still "hand of sean"

Part one of my hip hop triptych for the upcoming Rock Show at my friend Joanna's studio. The words in the background are his verse from the song "Embarrassed," font is called "Hand of Sean." Very pleased with the likeness in this.  

Part 1 of a big update

This was my first one. It's the Rochester City logo which was actually designed by a professor who teaches at RIT. The location is above a kneecap.

This is the Second one. The location is (obviously) a foot. The art is originally by me.

and this is the piece on which the foot tattoo is based! Media is rapidograph pen, ink, watercolor, and sharpie.

So I finally did my first couple of tattoos on skin! The first one I performed was last friday, the second one was earlier today. a HUGE thank you to my two victims.

Unfortunately my phone (where I had several pictures I really should have posted) died last weekend, and when i tried to at least hook it up to my computer to get the photos off of it, it started smoking. so sadly some photos are lost forever. HOWEVER, i'll try to find a way to show the other work i've done on grapefruit within the next couple of days.

But while i procrastinate and do stuff that i actually need to get done, here's my piece for Joanna's Cat Show. It's going to be on April 6th at her studio in the Hungerford Building in downtown Rochester. Go see it if you can! I sadly won't be able to make it but will be there in spirit.
